Residential Care Homes

Residential Care Homes are homes in a residential neighborhood, with a front yard, backyard, living room etc. These facilities are licensed by the State of California, and typically can take up to 6 residents. Depending on the residents needs they have 1-2 caregivers on staff at all times.

Residential Care Homes typically accommodate a higher level of care. Catering to residents who need assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, transfers, toileting, incontinence care, med reminders and meals. However it is also appropriate for someone who may not need a lot of personal care, but could use safety supervision but that is not interested in taking advantage of all the bells and whistles that Assisted Living offers.
