Residential Care Homes are homes in a residential neighborhood, with a front yard, backyard, living room etc. These facilities are licensed by the State of California, and typically can take up to 6 residents. Depending on the residents needs they have 1-2 caregivers on staff at all times.
Residential Care Homes typically accommodate a higher level of care. Catering to residents who need assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, transfers, toileting, incontinence care, med reminders and meals.
