Cheryl Akins, CEO
Cheryl has been in the senior care industry since 1996, however her love and passion for seniors goes well beyond that! She learned early on she had a passion for helping families and their loved ones.
Her career started as a Licensed Administrator managing care homes. In 1997 Cheryl had the opportunity of joining and starting a new Senior Care Placement and In Home Care Agency where she became Vice President. In 2010 she started All About Seniors with the belief that everyone deserves to live their golden years with love, dignity and respect!
Her goal is to provide peace of mind to her families and their loved ones. She pays great attention to detail when recommending facilities and would never recommend a place she wouldn’t want for her mom or dad.
Cheryl is the epitome of the saying "Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life".
Nicole Akins, Senior Care Coordinator
Having grown up in the Senior Care Industry it was only natural for her to continue the path of senior care.
Nicole went to Sacramento State university and majored in sociology. In 2000 she started working for a major placement and In Home Care Company as a Care Coordinator.
Nicole is a RCFE licensed Administrator and also worked for a nationwide Assisted Living community.
From 2010-2017 she owned and operated a senior placement and in home Care Agency.
In 2017 Nicole joined forces with her mom at their family business All About Seniors. Nicole has helped thousands of families find placement and caregivers for their loved ones.
Carly Moore, Senior Care Coordinator
Carly has been in the senior care industry since 2004. She learned very quickly she has a passion for helping seniors and their loved ones find the best care possible.
When not busy helping other families Carly stays busy with her family. She has 4 children that participate in many sports and activities.
Laurie Johnson, Office Manager
Laurie started with All About Seniors in 2019
Laurie grew up in Placer County. Not only is Laurie very organized she has a love for Seniors.
Having went through her mother and her father being on hospice, Laurie, knows how important it is to have the right caregivers. And how stressful it can be for the family members.
When folks stop by our office Laurie is the first one to greet them and always has a big smile.
Laurie has been the project Manager for our Charitable events and our Christmas drive. She is the perfect secret Santa for our senior community.
